A cast created to help treat flat chest. Flat chestedness (and other chest deformities) are extremely dangerous conditions in which a puppy will be born with or develop a flat chest due to environmental, congenital, or genetic (Pectus Excavatum) factors. Sometimes you can take all the precautions to prevent a flat chest from occurring and it still ends up happening! Luckily, there is a solution. Our kits come with 6 casts that your puppy can grow into. Depending on size and weight, the kit will treat newborn - 3 week old pups on average. We also recently released released an Extended Flat Chest Kit (sizes 0-8), which is basically an extension of the original. It is great for larger breeds & older pups.

It's always important to consult with your veterinarian, as a flat chested puppy could have developed pneumonia or other respiratory issues through aspirations or other stress on the lungs. Flat chest could also cause short term or long term complications with organs, like the heart and lungs. This product is intended to treat the root cause of a flat chested puppy, which is assisting in rounding the chest to take pressure off of the lungs and other vital organs & promoting a healthy recovery.
